I'm crushing on this whole table setting right now. LOVE the handmade paper flowers (must find that tutorial), LOVE the stamped linen napkins and the simple brown paper bag 'table cloth'.

Determined...

I need this...



I'm determined to have a productive weekend. The goal is to wrap all presents, tie up the loose Christmas shopping ends and whip up another batch of oatmeal cookies. And by batch I mean four dozen. Cheers!

Christmas crafts

Last weekend the roomie and I made snowflakes out of white tissue paper. We improvised, not having made them before, hanging them with white ribbon and scotch tape from our popcorn ceiling. We are mighty proud of them.

Of course they don't look quite like these, but close enough.

On a side not....wow, just discovered that I can check the 'large' box for picture sizes...so my pictures will be larger from now on (duh, Christina).

Thanksgiving weekend

Belated is better than never, I always say...sometimes. I figured it was time I posted pictures from Thanksgiving weekend.

Daddy Warbucks (aka my Dad) rented a house on Coronado island that is steps from the beach. Tory and Carl (whoop!) flew out for the long weekend, and Francis joined us at the house for the holiday too. The lot of us spent the weekend strolling on the beach, playing frisbee, puzzling, improving our croquet handicap, rope swinging, exploring the Del and eating. Eating. Eating. Thanksgiving weekend was one for the books.

Can't wait for what the Christmas holiday has in store. Bring it.
