Fin.

Finally, the reason for all the malarkey: the graduation of Her Royal Highness the Penultimate Aloysius, as she is cruelly lovingly referred to by our dad. Congrats, lil'un.

..part trois..

One of our family outings included a Sunday afternoon spent at the Gene Autry museum in LA where we all soaked up some serious history of the West.

Intermission

Have you ever wondered what happens when you leave your camera unattended with two hoodlums?

Behold two thirds of my bridal party. I have chosen wisely.

...part deux

The first photo, though urelated to the proceeding photos, was the reason we were late heading up Saturday and the reason for our lack of day adventures. That wouldn't do, so we made up for this with night adventures. That is to say we grabbed DQ blizzards at 11pm, tried to move a giant cement pipe like a hamster wheel, and then jumped off of lifeguard towers for a few hours. Sober.

We're kind of awesome.

*things learned:

-blizzards are amazing.
-I need to work on my 'jumping face'.
-my giant feet are great for steady landings.

the-four-day-weekend-saga-of-my-sister's-graduation, part un

I'll keep the explanations to a minimum and let the photos tell their own story. The weekend before last Fran and I headed up to my folks' place for a 4-day celebration of my younger sister's high school graduation with the whole family. We left after a Friday night of fun (and wine...about 12 bottles if we're being honest) with good friends.

Stay tuned for parts deux, trois, etc.

Weekend of Nothingness.

Francis was away this weekend and I have literally nothing to report.

I'm glad he's home. The house is too quiet when he's gone and I feel the need to sleep with cutting shears on my nightstand. Just in case.
