There was a bit of sibling-pool-time happening last week. The pool felt like bath water after the cold, cold water of the river. We went a tad crazy with the underwater cameras.

I'm back

I'm back, friends. Vacation was awesome. Rafting was great, Sequoia was beautiful, and the company was wonderful. It is going to take me a few days to post about the trip as there are a bajillion beautiful pictures to pour through. In the meantime, I leave you with the last day of vacation: a trip to the beach with the girls. Stay tuned.

weekend + vacation

Apologies for the ridiculously late weekend post. I'll keep it short and let the photos tell the story, albeit a choppy one.

Friday we went to happy hour with friends. After cocktails we participated in an impromptu gallery-hop, after which Francis and I wandered around a historical San Diego building for a couple of hours, see photos.

Saturday we cleaned, packed and unpacked, and had a proper date of dinner and a movie (saw 'Knight and Day').

Sunday we rode downtown to a friend's house for World Cup watching and celebrating (viva Espana). We wrapped up the day with a late afternoon trip to Extraordinary Desserts and naps.

Welp kiddos, I'm off on a week long vacation with the fam. We're off to Pageant of the Masters, followed by whitewater rafting on the American River and camping in Sequoia. Back next weekend with a long vacay post.
