Wedding Weekend in Austin

We attended the wedding of some dear friends in Austin a few weekends ago. It was fast and furious but we had a good time, despite the balminess. Because we were there for less than 48 hours, we spent most of our time exploring downtown on foot. The Saturday evening wedding was beautiful, with a lakeside venue and good company.

And Latin music.

And bottomless mojitos.

On Sunday after a post-wedding brunch we went to Barton Springs to cool off. Barton Springs is a big recreational pool fed by natural springs from an aquifer. More geologically accurate information here.
