Honeymoon in Mallorca, Part I

{A quick geological note about Mallorca, if you're unfamiliar.  It is the largest of Spain's Balearic islands and is roughly 100 miles off the coast of Barcelona, in the Mediterranean.}

This summer we honeymooned in Mallorca. Not long after the wedding we decided to freeload join in on a partial family trip to Europe. Not wanting to consider the familial travels our honeymoon, we decided to spend the first week alone, floating in the Mediterranean.

We stayed in Cala Rajada, the quaintest little beach town on the far east side of the island. Our home for the week was Cas Bombu, a small hotel/hostal that has been family owned and run since 1885, the first hotel opened in the area. We arrived with no agenda and no plans other than Total Relaxation and Cultural Immersion (see Total Relaxation). More to come...
