Konstanz!

We meandered our way through Bavaria in our Citroen Picasso with a final destination of Konstanz: home of Francis' older brother, Peter, and his family. They have lived there for years; Konstanz is actually the hometown of Peter's wife. They own a lofty three-story dance/yoga studio downtown, right near the Germany/Switzerland border. They graciously put us all up for a couple of days and led us around their adorable lakeside town.

{hanging at the farmer's market}

{berries...grapes?}

{the purple roses...it's a Conrad thing, donworry'boutit}

{exploring the many quaint and tiny streets of Konstanz}

{Dad going for a spin. Allie and I steadying Tory after hers}

{way over exposed but still fun}

{I've since forgotten what we were told about the statues a this fountain, so..use your imagination. Or don't.}

{Cathedral of Konstanz}

{cathedral candles}

{just walking right past Jesus}

{more strolling about on a BEAUTIFUL day}

{view of Lake Constance (aka Bodensee) from the cathedral}

{skipping rocks at the Bodensee waterfront/nearly hitting the poor German children}

{cooling off/searching for skipping rocks}

{break by the water before gelato and dinner, in that order}

Not pictured:
-A quick walk across the border into Switzerland
-A delicious home cooked meal by our very hospitable German hosts
